4-Day Break

• Dec 27 – Travel to the Düsseldorf area for three nights.
• Dec 28 – Düsseldorf Sightseeing (included). We travel into Düsseldorf for a day to explore and shop. Our guided sightseeing tour will introduce the Old Town area. There’ll be plenty of time for shopping on the “Kö”, which stands for Königsallee (Kings Avenue). B
• Dec 29 – Cologne (included). Head to Cologne. Enjoy a stroll along the Rhine Promenade, and the excellent shopping in the area around Hohe Strasse, with fine department stores and smaller boutiques to tempt your purse/wallet. Enjoy the snack bars, restaurants and, of course, the combined brewery/restaurants, where you can taste the traditional “kölsch”. B
• Dec 30 – Homeward bound via Calais. B

Accommodation

You’ll stay for three nights at the 4-star Treff Hansa Hotel Düsseldorf-Mettmann, located 10km from the heart of Düsseldorf. The hotel has a Restaurant ‘Brasserie’ and the Trefflounge/ bistro, plus a lift. All bedrooms have telephone, T.V. and hairdryer.
