7 Day Break

• Dec 22 – Travel from your local joining point to your overnight hotel in Belgium.
• Dec 23 – Enroute to your Hannover hotel, we visit the cathedral city of Cologne with the chance to browse the Christmas market stalls. B, D
• Christmas Eve– Our optional morning sightseeing tour will show you the highlights of Hannover, the capital of Lower Saxony and include a visit to the Royal Gardens of Herrenhausen. In the afternoon you will have free time for shopping or discovering Hannover’s many treasures. B, D
• Christmas Day– We enjoy a morning at leisure before our Christmas buffet lunch. In the afternoon we take an included scenic drive to the quaint town of Hamelin located on the banks of the Weser River and famously associated with the story of the Pied Piper. B, L, D
• Boxing Day– Today we venture into the beautiful Harz Mountains with time at leisure in Goslar and the delightful old town of Wernigerode. Later we include an excursion on the beautiful Harz Narrow-Gauge Railway, Harzer Schmalspurbahnen (HSB). The narrow gauge steam train will take you along the Harquer and Mount Brocken Railways to the Brocken peak for an overwhelming panoramic view of the Upper Harz National Park. B, D
• Dec 27– Return to Belgium for an overnight stay. B
• Dec 28– Homewards to the U.K. B

Accommodation

You will stay for four nights in the 4-star Ramada Hotel Europa Hannover situated in the southern districts of the city of Hannover. The hotel has a bar, restaurant and lift whilst all bedrooms have T.V. telephone and hairdryer. Overnight stays in Belgium will be in city-style hotels.
