- Day 1 Fly to Budapest, transfer to your hotel for a three-night stay. D
- Day 2 A day at leisure to discover the vibrant Hungarian capital of Budapest, divided by the Danube River into the districts of Buda and Pest. The Christmas market is situated on Vörösmarty Square in the heart of Pest and is awash with colourful market stalls and an outdoor stage with festive-themed shows. The Christmas market itself displays a whole range of traditional arts and crafts ideal as Christmas gifts. There are Christmas favourites to eat and drink as well, like honey cake and mulled wine, in case all that shopping makes you peckish! An optional guided sightseeing tour will b available during the day. B,D
- Day 3 To savour the full flavour of Hungary, join an optional visit to Szentendre, a small unspoilt town known as ‘The Pearl of the Danube Bend’. Its charming cobbled streets, small squares, red-tiled roofs and brightly painted houses, are a perfect setting to enjoy exploring its Christmas market. Return to Budapest later in the afternoon and spend the rest of the day at leisure to further explore the Christmas market. B,D
- Day 4 Transfer to Budapest airport for your return flight home. B

Accommodation
You will stay for three nights half board at the unique cylindrical-shaped 4-star Hotel Budapest on the Buda side of the Danube. The hotel offers a restaurant, bar and lift. All bedrooms have T.V., telephone, hairdryer, air-conditioning and mini-bar. |
